Wide Open Wyoming is home to some vast and gorgeous courses that settle into the breathtaking landscape with the greatest of ease. Cheyenne's Country Club course is a pleasant track at reasonable rates. In the Jackson Hole area boasts several amazing mountainous Wyoming golf courses, including Arnold Palmer's mountain masterpiece, the Teton Pines golf course.
Teton Pines is regularly ranked as one of Golf Digest's "Top Places You Can Play," and has won accolades for the course and the resort's excellent dining facilities. The disadvantage to this is that scheduling a Teton Pines tee time can be difficult because of the popularity of the course. One benefit to Teton Pines: Even though it's set in the mountains, the terrain is pretty flat - if you can keep it in the fairway.
Rates get pricey, but as with every golf destination, package deals abound and discounts are out there if you book tee times carefully on-line.
