Great Gorge is a George Fazio-designed 27-hole golf course nestled in the beautiful hills of Vernon, New Jersey. Formerly known as the Playboy Country Club, it has hosted the likes of great entertainers like Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. The course is nothing short of the style that these entertainers brought to the stage. The Rail nine is known for its views, and some consider them the best in the country. The Lake nine winds along the Black Creek, making management and strategy vital to avoid taking a penalty or more. Finally, the Quarry nine has some of the most challenging holes on the course, including the signature third, a par-3, a perfect Instagram-able moment! Regardless of the combination, you're sure to enjoy your round. Great Gorge has a complete clubhouse, a pro shop and restaurant open to the public, and a practice area.
