The key to getting round Longridge Golf Course is distance control as the undulating terrain makes it difficult to judge correctly. Water hazards feature throughout the course along with some deep bunkers protecting the par 3s. Some around the local area claim that the testing holes are some of the most enjoyable in the area. The very hilly nature of the layout means that there are no shortage of uneven lies and the greens are kept in excellent condition. The 18th is a brilliant uphill par 4 with trees protecting the right side and a plateau green at the top.
