Golf Courses Near Castle Rock, CO
Named for its iconic castle-shaped butte perched above downtown, Castle Rock is a city known for its festivals, parks, wine, breweries and plenty of other fun things to do for its residents and visitors. Located just south of Denver on the way to Colorado Springs, Castle Rock is a city of around 74,000 that features an annual wine festival that attracts more than 100 different vendors and thousands of wine enthusiasts. It also has a vibrant craft brew scene, scores of great coffee shops and local restaurants, great shopping and lots of wide open park space and hike and bike trails. There’s also opportunities to see the arts, including the intimate Theatre of Dreams Arts and Event Center. Golf is also in the forefront here as Castle Rock is known for Castle Pines Golf Club, a private course designed by Jack Nicklaus. It was the longtime host of The International on the PGA Tour. But you can find plenty of tee times at public courses, too, such as the highly-rated Red Hawk Ridge and The Ridge at Castle Pines North.
