Golf Destination Phoenix-Scottsdale

Metro Phoenix and its suburbs, which include Scottsdale and Tempe, have earned the moniker "The Valley of the Sun," thanks to more than 325 days of sunshine that the region enjoys each year. The climate combined with the dramatic Sonoran Desert landscape have cemented Phoenix, and especially Scottsdale, as one of the country's golf meccas. Scottsdale boasts more than 200 courses ranging from traditional layouts to desert golf. The city is home to the Phoenix Open, played at TPC Scottsdale, and other notable courses include Troon North, the Phoenician, and Silverleaf.
