Golf Courses in Plymouth, MI

There are a lot of reasons to visit Plymouth, a suburb of Detroit that’s just 15 miles east of Ann Arbor. The city has a great downtown and numerous festivals, including the popular Art in the Park, Green Fair, and Plymouth Ice Spectacular, an ice-carving festival each January that draws tens of thousands. There’s also the popular Kellogg Park, which has scores of shops and restaurants, many of them with outdoor patio dining. And speaking of outdoors, Plymouth offers up a smorgasbord of golf, including The Inn of St. John’s Golf Resort, which has three terrific nine-hole layouts. St. John’s is hardly the only place to get tee times though. In Plymouth alone, there are courses like Hilltop Golf Club, a 1927 design by Jerry Matthews, or Brae Burn Golf Club, another popular public layout that goes back to 1923. The surrounding communities of Livonia, Canton and Northville are close by and have plenty of golf options as well, including Idyl Wyld Municipal, Pheasant Run Golf Club and Bushwood Golf Club, just to name a few.
