Golf Courses in Midland, TX

One of the fastest growing cities in the country, Midland, which is right next to Odessa, has its roots in oil and was the childhood home of our 43rd president, George W. Bush. Located in the middle of West Texas between Fort Worth and El Paso, you can learn about Midland's heritage at the Permian Basin Petroleum Museum or visit Bush home, restored to its 1950s state when he lived there as a child. The city has its fair share of golf, too. The public can get tee times as courses like Hogan Park and Nueva Vista Golf Club. Hogan Park has two excellent 18-hole layouts located in the heart of the city. Midland also has three private courses -- Green Tree Country Club, Midland Country Club, and Ranchland Hills Golf Club.
