Golf Courses in Pearland, TX

A fast-growing suburb south of Houston, Pearland has more than 120,000 people with plenty of restaurants, shopping and recreation. It's home to the famous Killen's steakhouse as well as Killen's Barbecue, considered one of the best in the state and owned and operated by James Beard award-winning chef Rodney Killen. There's also shopping and eating on the Boardwalk on Towne Lake and an excellent local craft brewery. Tee times are plentiful too at courses like Pearland Country Club, which was renovated in recent years and is open to the public. Southwyck Golf Club, a links-like design that used to serve as the home course of the University of Houston golf teams, is also a public option. Other good choices open to the public include 27-hole Timber Creek in Friendswood next door to Pearland as well as Clear Creek Golf Club and 36-hole Wildcats Golf Club in the southern part of Houston.
