Golf Courses in San Antonio
Deep in the heart, San Antonio is a true Texas destination home to such iconic landmarks as the Alamo and downtown Riverwalk. Named "Titletown" for Tim Duncan and the Spurs dynasty, it was the birthplace of the Texas Open in 1922 and hosted many of the greats on it's historic courses like Brackenridge Park, Pecan Valley and Oak Hills Country Club. A booming golf scene in the 1990s and 2000s lent itself to even more golf, including the opening of Texas Open hosts La Cantera and TPC San Antonio. In addition to a diverse golf scene with plenty of accessible options, Tex-Mex cuisine, family attractions history and hospitality make this destination among the most visited in the Lone Star State.
