The ground at Falconhead Golf Club is full of movement from the tee boxes to the elevated greens. This championship golf course puts a premium on precise shotmaking on both tee shots and approach shots. Strategically placed bunkers add extra challenge to the game, while balls struck askew can skip off at the margins into brush and trees. The good news is you can usually find your ball if it winds up in trouble. Falconhead Golf Club accommodates approach shots to the putting surfaces via the air or along the ground. Falconhead Golf Club s most memorable test is the par-3 8th, a hole widely considered one of the very best and most beautiful par 3s in all of Texas. The green on this striking one-shorter sits on a limestone ledge that cantilevers above a creek. Three cascading waterfalls add to the charm of a large green that is hard to hold. Although homes line many fairways at Falconhead Golf Club, they are generally set back a bit from the fray. The club features a full driving range, a chipping area with a practice bunker, and a putting green.
