The Club at Savannah Harbor Golf Course

Designed by Robert Cupp and World Golf Hall of Famer Sam Snead, The Club at Savannah Harbor is one of the premier golf experiences in southeast Georgia. This popular course, which opened in 1999 and measures nearly 7,300 yards from the back tees, takes advantage of the beautiful surrounding wetlands of the Back River to the city of Savannah's famous Historic District. The course has been honored by Golf Digest with a four-star rating as well as ranked among the top 100 of courses in America by Conde Nast Traveler. It was named among the top courses in Georgia by Golf Advisor for seven consecutive years (2014-'20). Cupp and Snead incorporated a risk-reward design philosophy at The Club at Savannah Harbor. Golfers who want short approach shots, for example, often have to navigate, carry or avoid water features to get into position or lay up short of the penalty areas for longer approaches. There are five sets of tees, starting at 5,261 yards. The Club at Savannah Harbor has a nice variety of par-5 holes, including the longest hole on the course, the 660-yard seventh, which has a peninsula green protected by three bunkers and a penalty area. The course, which also offers memberships, features excellent practice facilities that include a grass driving range, short-game area, putting greens and golf academy for lessons. In addition to golf carts, GolfBoards are also available. The facility's 22,000-square foot clubhouse includes a well-stocked golf shop, full-service locker rooms, dining rooms and grill, and The Heavenly Spa by Westin.
