Beaver Creek Golf Club (Formerly Beaver Hills Golf Club)

Renovated in 2021 under new ownership, Beaver Creek Golf Course has never been better. Originally opened in 1945 and designed by Ferdinand Garbin, the club used to be known as Beaver Hills Golf Course until it was purchased the new owners, who grew up playing the course. Now the course is a par-71 that plays just under 6,200 yards with four sets of tees. The course has served as the host site for regional qualifiers and min-tour events in the past. It is also home of the golf teams of Patrick & Henry Community College as well as Bassett High School. The no. 1 handicap hole at Beaver Creek Golf Course is actually the first, a 519-yard par-5. It?s a straightaway hole, but there are several large trees you have to navigate on the way to the green. The layout ends with a 270-yard par 4, drivable for long hitters, but the green is protected front right by some other mature trees. There is no driving range, but there is a short-game area and a practice putting green. You?ll find a golf shop in the clubhouse as well as a restaurant and bar, which is open every day.
