Theydon Bois Golf Club is one of the eldest golf clubs in Essex right in the heart of Epping Forest. Theydon Bois Golf Club was founded in 1897 and designed in part by the renowned James Braid. What you will become to expect at Theydon Bois Golf Club is a traditional forest course which is an absolute delight to play throughout the changing seasons of the year. The atmosphere around Theydon Bois Golf Club is relaxed and friendly, both for members playing a host of both traditional competitions, social golf and for visitors visiting the club. In 1971 Theydon Bois Golf Club became the dream of an 18-hole golf course it is today, opened with great fanfare by the Lord Mayor of London. Since then Theydon Bois Golf Club has developed both its course and clubhouse into the modern, relaxed and friendly club it is today. The 120 years of history sit very well on Theydon Bois Golf Club and make it a very special place to experience.
