The 18-hole Scherwood course in Schererville, Indiana features 6,900 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 72.0 and it has a slope rating of 118. Both the 18 hole and the executive 9 hole course offer blue grass fairways and large penn cross bent grass greens. The course is generally flat with elevated greens and water coming into play on most holes. Designed by Ted Locke, the Scherwood golf course opened in 1967. Marvin Hanson is the Director of Golf.
The bar & grill is open daily sunrise to sunset during the season and offers full service breakfast and lunch with big screen TVs for all sporting events. Friday fish dinners featuring perch and other specialties are from 4:00 - 9:30pm and have been in continuous operation for over 30 years!
