Conveniently located just 15 minutes from Ft. Lauderdale International Airport, Davie Golf Club is a fun, challenging golf course that will suit every level of golfer. Formerly Arrowhead Golf & Tennis Club and once owned by former Miami Dolphin quarterback Earl Morrall, Davie Golf Club is now an enjoyable par-70 layout that plays 6,347 yards from the back tees. The course, which was designed by Bill Watts originally, was renovated in 2011 by Harrison Minchew Golf Course Architecture. The work included improved drainage, which resulted in more lakes on the course as well as more contouring of the course. Now it has greens with plenty of movement. In addition, several hundred native trees were planted to give the course more beauty and character. There are five sets of tees, starting at just 3,783 yards, which is perfect for juniors and shorter hitters. There are just two par 5s on the course, the first hole and the 16th, which is a healthy 577 yards from the back tees. It's part of a good fishing stretch that also includes the 158-yard par-3 17th and difficult 424-yard par-4 18th. All three holes work around a large lake. Known for its friendly staff, the course at Davie Golf Club is also walkable who prefers not to take a powered cart. Davie Golf Club does not have a driving range, but there is a chipping green and practice putting green. Inside the clubhouse, you will also find a well-stocked golf shop as well as a sandwich counter that also offers drinks and other snacks.
