Become a part of history and play a round at Delray Beach Golf Club. This golf club, designed by legendary architect Donald Ross, was originally opened in 1926 as a 9 hole course. After being forced to close during World War II, the renovated course reopened in 1945 as an 18 hole course. Today, the beloved course at Delray Beach Golf Club has grown to be one of the best accessible public golf venues in South Florida. It is also home to several Pro-Am events such as the Betty Jameson Classic and the Beth Daniel Clinic. Delray Beach Golf Club is located near the historic downtown Delray Beach/Atlantic Avenue area. Although the championship track has been around a while, it is always in excellent shape. The course is accurate in measurement with a length of 6907 yards and a Par 72. The wide fairways and well-manicured greens at Delray Beach Golf Club offer exceptional drainage. There are many sand traps around the greens. Sometimes, the greens can sometimes be deceiving and hard to reach. Once you do reach them, they often roll faster than expected.
