Tangle Creek Golf & Country Club opened in 2002 and has gained recognition as one of the Premier Golf Facilities not just in Barrie, but the entire Greater Toronto Area. Built on over 200 acres of rolling terrain, this all bent grass layout designed by renowned course architect Rene Muylaert will satisfy every golfer's appetite. With four sets of tees, the course measures from 5,500 yards for beginners to 7,200 yards for the more serious player.
The vision for Tangle Creek was to create a course using the best characteristics of the classic and links style courses. The course features wind swept fairways defined by strategic bunkering, mounding, grassy hollows and fescue. The course then transitions into a more traditional North American style with heavily forested holes, ponds, environmentally protected areas with immaculate course conditions.
Awards- Tangle Creek's commitment to excellence in customer service, course conditioning and course design have already resulted in a number of prestigous awards.
