    Pasatiempo Golf Club, located in Santa Cruz, California, is considered one of the best public-access golf courses in the United States. The course was designed by acclaimed golf course architect Alister Mackenzie of Augusta National and Cypress Point fame. A spectacular elevated tee shot on the first hole overlooking the Pacific Ocean sets up golfers for a thrilling round full of imaginative, undulating greens and artistically-crafted bunkers. Pasatiempo is in between the San Francisco and Monterey Peninsula, so the golf course can be experienced coming or going from Pebble Beach or visiting the Bay Area.
