Designed by the late Arthur Hills, one of the most prolific architects of the modern era, Heritage Harbour Golf Club is a challenging course with plenty of risk-reward opportunities, beautiful holes and strategic bunkering. The golf course, once known as Stoneybrook Golf Club at Heritage Harbour, underwent a complete renovation in 2022, led by up-and-coming architect Nick Campenalli. The course will challenge every level of player with multiple tees, starting at just over 5,000 yards. Originally opened in 2002, the par-72 course, which plays more than 7,100 yards from the tips, winds through wetlands, ponds, and lakes to create a variety of doglegs and looks. The routing after the renovation remained largely unchanged. The work included new turfgrass for the tees, fairways and greens complexes, along with an upgraded drainage and irrigation system. Heritage Harbour Golf Club's practice facilities include an aqua driving range, short-game area, and two putting greens to warm up on before your round. Lessons from the professional staff are also available. The club offers memberships, both year-round and seasonal, but is open to the public as well. As of late, it has been transformed into more of a resort style facility with the addition of villas as well as a lodge and other amenities. Inside Heritage Harbour's clubhouse is a fully stocked golf shop with the latest in apparel, accessories, gifts and equipment. And there's also an excellent bar & grill in the clubhouse. It offers daily happy hours, salads, sandwiches, burgers, various entrees, cocktails and beer.
