First opened in 1920 as a 9-hole course, Liberton Golf Club now has 18 holes covering 82 acres of rolling parkland just 5 miles south-east of Edinburgh. In recent years the club has refurbished their elegant 18th century clubhouse which can provide changing facilities along with a bar and lounge that looks out over the course.
The course at Liberton Golf Club may seem short in modern day standards but it still demands respect. The course is regarded as a hidden gem around Edinburgh and is always in superb condition whatever the weather. The course includes five par 3 holes all with well protected fast rolling greens that make a 2 a rare score. Tree lined fairways require plenty of attention to plot your way round a truly enjoyable test of golf.
