Camperdown Golf Club is an 18 Hole, 5456 metre, par 72 course which is an enjoyable challenge for all golfers. Golf at the present site commenced in 1950, however it had been played in Camperdown for the preceding fifty years. Originally play was by invitation only on a private nine hole course at “Talindert”, a grand property east of Camperdown. In 1921 the Camperdown Golf Club was formed with play at the Talindert site. The original membership numbered some thirty men and women with the first President being Sir Chester Manifold. The course offers a practice fairway and putting green in addition to the 18 hole course.
