The Joondalup Resort sits 30 miles north of Perth, Australia, just a few miles from the sunset coast. The resort is made up of three 9 hole golf courses where the Quarry and Dune make up the 18 hole championship golf experience. The course was one of very few Australian facilities to be designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. The Joondalup-Quarry section delivers some amazing once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, one particular hole tasks players to hit a green from beneath a 30-metre limestone cliff. Many visitors have said the images don't do the scenery around the quarry justice, we think you should see for yourself.
"No two holes are the same" couldn't ring more true than it does for the Joondalup Resort - Dune Course. Playing amongst the Dunes ensures each hole offers a new perspective on the interlocking scenery. The resort itself is made up of three 9 hole golf courses where the Quarry and Dune make up the 18 hole championship golf experience. The par 4 2nd hole is a favourite amongst many visitors, causing difficulty due to the bunkers both left and right making par a very good score for even the most skilled player. The 128-metre third hole on the quarry course at Joondalup is a short par 3 with a target that’s larger than most greens for a hole that short but that doesn't mean it's easy to hit. The surrounding out-of-bounds makes many golfers shake at the knees, come and see the Dune course at Joondalup for yourself.
