Lingdale Golf Club is described by many as the best golf course in the county of Leicestershire. Golfers are treated to a fantastic golf course, offering a real test of playing ability with spectacular views, scenery and the odd glimpse of wildlife. Measuring 6545 yards of the back tees, this par-71 course, was originally set out as a 9-hole course, until the late 1980’s when Lingdale Golf Club expanded to 18 holes. Thanks to major green reconstruction in 1999, to USGA standards, the greens have matured into a fine state, allowing golfers to play all throughout the year. Lingdale Golf Club celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2017, and despite its young age, many greats of the game such as Peter Alliss and Tony Jacklin, rate the course as one of the best in the Midlands. Tee off at Lingdale Golf Club, and challenge yourself to the daunting opening three holes, with two long par 4s and a par 3 measuring over 200 yards.
