Wrag Barn Golf and Country Club is situated on the outskirts of Highworth in Swindon. The course itself is a Parkland style course with stunning views across the Berkshire countryside. The course is relatively newly opened in 1989 after the owner and course manager, Tim Manners decided to open the course and design 18 holes that he wanted to play. The course has some really challenging holes that are truly risk and reward. The 17th is the perfect example of this, the green is reachable with two, but it can post a high number on your scorecard and ruin your round so it is important to look after the ball and decide how you want to play it. The course describes itself as a course that high and middle handicapper will enjoy the chance to make good scores whereas low handicappers will find it exciting to try and avoid the bunkers and water hazards around the course. The fantastic clubhouse has everything from food and beverage to first class Wi-Fi for those business trips that include golf.
