Powfoot Golf Club is a spectacular 6,274-yard, par 71 course set in breath-taking Dumfriesshire countryside. The club originally opened in 1903 with the course being later redesigned by the legendary James Braid in 1923. Powfoot Golf Course presents a fantastic combination of both parkland and links golf of the highest standard. Many of its holes weave their way beside the Solway Firth across undulating links terrain bordered by colourful gorse and punishing rough, providing challenges for even the finest golfers. With it's fantastic layout and beautiful views across the Firth it isn't hard to see why Powfoot Golf Club has earned a reputation for being one of the best courses in the South West of Scotland.
