One of the oldest traditional courses in the South West of England, it has been characterised as an inland links course with stunning views across three counties from its hilltop position above Warminster. In many respects the course has characteristics of a links course with few trees, small greens and a prevailing breeze. Inspiring views across the Wiltshire Downs surround the course and the elements can play a key part throughout any round. The course is 5,790 yards long, has a par of 69 and a standard scratch score of 68. A good short game is required to score well.
