A short drive from the Maryland and Delaware beaches, Plantation Lakes Golf and Country Club offers an Arthur Hills-designed championship golf course that all golfers will enjoy. The course, which tips out at a little more than 6,600 yards, has five sets of tees and features some of the best putting surfaces in the area. The par 72 course opened in 2015. It features a lot of risk-reward holes, including some short par 4s that might entice long hitters to go for the green or at least get close to it. As the name would imply, lakes and water features come into play often. There's even an island green on one hole. And there are plenty of trees and strategically placed bunkers, too. The no. 1 handicap hole on the course is the third, a par-4 that plays nearly 450 yards off the tee. The course ends with a par 5 that will entice better players to go for the green in two. In addition to the golf course, Plantation Lakes and Country also has excellent practice facilities. They include a large driving range, short-game area with chipping green and practice bunkers, and a practice putting green. Lessons are also available from the golf professionals at this semi-private club. And there's also an indoor simulator available. The club's beautiful 22,500-square foot clubhouse is where you will find a golf shop stocked with the latest in apparel, accessories, and equipment. The Landing Bar & Grille is open to?the public and offers a full lunch and dinner menu in a variety of settings, including a bar area that boasts twelve 65-inch TV?s in a relaxed casual atmosphere, outdoor patio space, and a fine dining area with offerings to suit all taste tastes.?
