The Links at Fayetteville Golf & Country Club is a 9-hole golf course at The Links at Fayetteville apartment complex. Located off of West Wedington Drive less than three miles from the University of Arkansas campus, the regulation-length course entertains free play by residents at all times but also welcomes tee times from public players. The layout regularly earns praise for its playability, fun array of holes, and excellent value. Since opening in 2008, The Links at Fayetteville Golf Club has been a popular option for golfers of all skill levels, even beginners, and it is especially appealing for players who don t have time for an 18-hole game. With four sets of tee boxes, the course can be played from as short as 2,366 yards and as long as 2,989 yards. The par-35 routing features two par 3s and a single par 5 as it makes a counterclockwise circuit around the complex. On many holes, trees provide a loose buffer from the apartment buildings that sit beyond the fairways. The Links at Fayetteville features a mix of straightaway and dogleg holes that put a premium on accuracy. The round starts with a long par 4 (415 yards from the tips), but afterward length isn t a significant factor. Holes 6 and 7 are back-to-back par 4s of about 300 yards. Water enters the fray only on the first hole. Narrow fairways and strategically placed bunkers present the principal threats to scoring at The Links at Fayetteville. The playing field is very walkable you ll cover a bit over two miles if you opt to hoof it without a cart. Note that the facility does not pair players up. You may see singles sandwiched between groups of foursomes. If you want to warm up before your round at The Links at Fayetteville, you can use the putting green and hit pitch shots of up to about 100 yards in a grassy area, though you must use your own balls. The club features a full pro shop but no longer operates its grill. Food options are limited to a few snacks.
