Opening in 1972 with a Henry Cotton-designed golf course, Windmill Hill Golf Centre has become a hotspot of golf around Milton Keynes. Not only is there a great golf course but also an expansive driving range to take advantage of to ensure you are in top form stepping onto the 1st tee. Away from the golf there is a spacious lounge bar and large function room within the clubhouse to sit down and relax in.
Although measuring just shy of 6,400 yards off the yellows, and a further 300 yards off the whites, the walk at Windmill Hill Golf Centre is very easy going and there is little between the greens and following tees. There is little alteration from what you see off the tee with long stretching fairways which are usually lined with trees and make for some tight landing areas. As you would expect from a Henry Cotton design there is great strength in the par 3s that will test both your long irons and short game to get an elusive 2.
