The Torrance House Golf Club resides within the mature woodlands and parklands of Calderglen Country Park. The course provides some picturesque views as it stretches out into the nearby countryside. These views can also be enjoyed from the comfort of the clubhouse and its welcoming bar and lounge that serves both food and beverages throughout the day.
The course at Torrance House Golf Club is a popular venue for parkland golf around Glasgow and Lanarkshire. With mature woodlands adjoining the course there are plenty of obstacles to avoid as you play up to the well-kept greens. If you aren’t accurate off the tee you may need to be more reliant on imagination than skill to avoid trees, sand and water hazards to get you back on course. Undulating greens along with both uphill and downhill shots, especially to par 3s and dogleg par 4s, can be a little tricky. The course has a great finish with both the par 5, 17th and signature par 3, 18th to round off what is a truly enjoyable test.
