Established in the 1980s, Langlands Golf Club is fairly young in golfing terms but has come on leaps and bounds quickly building a fine reputation. Just outside East Kilbride this well-matured moorland course is now a popular destination for golf just south of Glasgow. The club is very strong on the social side and hosts a number of well attended open competitions, as well as offering a spacious clubhouse with lounge and bar areas to be enjoyed afterwards.
Although relatively young the 18 holes of moorland golf at Landlands Golf Club have quickly matured into a fine track. Each hole winds its way through the landscape with trees lining the fairways and a good number of well thought out bunker placements to catch out any stray shots. Anyone who has played the course can tell you that it is very friendly for every level of golfer, but when the wind picks up the exposed holes can pose a tough challenge to all. A good card is needed before stepping onto the 17th tee as the last two holes are notorious for making or breaking a round.
