Sitting on the Hamilton side of the M74, the Strathclyde Park Golf Club is bordered by both Strathclyde Country Park and Hamilton Racecourse. These neighbours make for a unique setting providing some lush green surroundings and pleasant views. Although only 9 holes the course is popular in the local area and known for its great condition.
The 9 holes at Strathclyde Park Golf Club are full of character and renowned for their small, fast and tricky greens that can be hard to hold without the best of approach shots. The course provides a pleasant mix of holes with most being relatively open and friendly but a couple that can demand an accurate tee shot. The 4th would be considered the signature hole with a downhill drive leaving an approach shot around the dogleg right.
