Constructed in 1998 and originally Gravesend Airport, Southern Valley is a Par 69, 6,211 yard links golf course. With views over the Thames Estuary to one side and the rolling Kentish countryside to the other, Southern Valley has fantastic panoramic views. Good drainage ensures that temporary tees aren’t in use at any time during the year. Fantastic lounge and bar areas are ideal to unwind after your game.
Southern Valley Golf Club is situated just South of Gravesend in Kent. The golf course has been built on what was once the Gravesend Airport which was actually in use during the 2nd World War and overlooks the Thames Estuary. This golf course has been designed and built in sympathy with a traditional Links course. This golf course is still relatively young thus needs some time to mature; however, it provides a great game of golf with its large greens and undulating fairways. Many improvements have been made to this golf course throughout the years, with additional bunkers and new tees being built. This is a golf course with great potential which is sure to attract golfers of all different abilities.
