Founded in 1905 as a nine holer, New Ross Golf Club in Tinneranny, County Wexford is a parkland course that features superb, panoramic views of the nearby Brandon and Blackstairs mountains. Converted to an 18-hole golf course in 1995, golfers need straight hitting and perfect shot placing. Tree-lined fairways are tight and reward precise hitters; there's little room for error. If you miss, there are plenty of lakes and water hazards to avoid. Golf is available all year at this par-70 course. The New Ross clubhouse has views of the golf course where members and guests can enjoy the bar and restaurant seven days a week.
