The Mohr family had farmed this fertile stretch of land since their arrival in the 1870's when a chance meeting in 1963 between local golf legend Ted Lockie and Jake Mohr changed it's fate. A partnership was struck, Ted moved onto the land to design a course, and left a peice of his legacy for all to enjoy. The large gently undulating greens are superbly manicured as well as the 24 acres of fairways. The gently rolling terrain makes walking easy. Adding beauty and hazards to the course are four lakes, which provide some five acres of water on the 6,855 yard course.
