Golf Courses Near Redmond, WA
Known as the “bicycle capital of the Pacific Northwest,” with its miles of trails and a competitive velodrome, Redmond is a Seattle suburb with a great outdoors scene to go with plenty of other things to do, including museums, local eateries, brew pubs and shopping. Redmond is also the home to the Microsoft Corp., as well as Nintendo of America. Of course it was founded as a logging town with its gigantic fir trees that tower over parks, trails and even golf courses. One of those courses was Sahalee Country Club, the 27-hole facility that played host to the 1998 PGA Championship won by Vijay Singh. And while Sahalee is private there are plenty of other courses in the Redmond area offering tee times to the public. Among the busiest is Willow’s Run Golf Complex, which has two 18-hole layouts among its 45 holes.
