Golf Courses Near Bellevue, WA
Opposite from Seattle on the eastern side of Lake Washington, Bellevue is a more low key that its neighbor the west while offering plenty of sites and activities. Its Downtown Park has large lawns, gardens and a waterfall. There are museums, coffee shops, local eateries, pubs and plenty of free parking. And Bellevue makes for a great basecamp to visit the outdoors at attractions like Mountain Rainier and the North Cascades and Olympic national parks. There’s also the Bellevue Botanical Garden, which focuses on native Pacific Northwest plants, Bellevue Arts Museum and and festivals, such as the annual Strawberry Festival and Bellevue Sculpture Exhibition. There are also lots of golf courses in the area, offering tee times to the public. Among the most popular is the Golf Club at New Castle, which has two championship layouts designed by Bob Cupp with Fred Couples and David Johnson.
