Golf Courses Near York, PA
The birthplace of the Articles of Confederation, York was one of the nation’s first capitals. Since then, this city, which is now around 45,000 residents, was where the first coal burning locomotive was built, the animal cracker was born and a spot where thousands of visitors come to enjoy live theater, dozens of coffee shops and local restaurants, antique shops, museums, farmers markets and the Libation Trail, a collection of local wineries and breweries. This central Pennsylvania town also has plenty of things to do outdoors, like parks and golf courses. Heritage Hills Golf Resort is one of several good choices for the public to find tee times. Heritage Hills, which plays more than 6,700 yards, uses the native hilly terrain to create memorable and challenging holes. Other 18-hole courses open for public play include Honey Run Golf Club, Grandview Golf Course and semi-private Briarwood Golf Club.
