Golf Courses Near Reading, PA

Great museums, parks, trails and scores of restaurants, pubs and shops are what visitors will find when they come to Reading, which is located in the southern part of Pennsylvania. Here you can take a ride on a train pulled by a steam engine at Reading Outer Station, check out the vintage aircraft at the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum or see the mummy exhibit at the Reading Public Museum. There are also plenty of opportunities to get tee times on public golf courses in Reading, which has a population of just under 90,000 people. One of the most popular is Reading Country Club. This public course, which plays less than 6,200 yards from the back tees, is challenging with its undulation and elevation changes. Other public courses include the par-70 Flying Hills Golf Club, Chapel Hill Golf Course and the private Berkshire Country Club, a Willie Park Jr.-design that opened in 1903.
