Golf Courses Near Hillsboro, OR
Located about 30 miles west of Portland, Hillsboro is an emerging city with plenty of tech companies, historic homes, museums, local restaurants, outdoor recreation and breweries. Known as the Tualatin Valley’s “Beervana” because of the breweries located on the east side, Hillsboro also has a minor league baseball team that pays homage to the local brews. The team’s nickname is the Hillsboro Hops. There are also plenty of other things to do in Hillsboro, including local theater, museums, coffee shops, art galleries and festivals, including the annual Washington County Fair. The city also has its fair share of golf courses with several facilities offering tee times to the public. Among the most popular is Meriwether National Golf Club, which has 27 holes along the Tualatin River as well as a nine-hole executive course. Other options include The Reserves Vineyard in nearby Aloha and nine-hole Killarney West Golf Course.
