Stillwater, located in north-central Oklahoma, is home to Oklahoma State University. The university’s men’s golf team captured the 2018 NCAA National Championship on its home course—Karsten Creek Golf Club. A tee time at Karsten Creek is memorable. Carved through an oak forest and around a big lake by Tom Fazio, it was named Best New Course of 1994 by Golf Digest and it is widely considered Oklahoma’s top public course.
