Golf Courses Near Mason, OH
Located in Warren County, known as Ohio’s Playground, Mason is a suburb of Cincinnati with plenty of fun things to see and do. It’s home to the famous Kings Island amusement park, Great Wolf Lodge and Conference Center and one of the largest tennis stadiums and facilities in the world, the Lindner Family Tennis Center, which plays host to a big professional event prior to the U.S. Open. The community also has plenty of unique restaurants, hotels, bars, shops, art galleries and outdoor festivals. The golf scene in the area is pretty good as well, with several courses offer tee times to the public. Among the most popular is the Golf Center at Kings Island, a municipal facility that features the Jack Nicklaus designed 18-hole Grizzly Course, as well as a unique short course, the Academy Course, designed by Nicklaus, Desmond Muirhead, and Jay Morrish. Other public golf courses in or near Mason include Green Crest Golf Club in Middletown and 27-hole Shaker Run Golf Club, while Heritage Club in Mason is a very nice private club designed by P.B. Dye.
