Golf Courses Near Grove City, OH
Just west of Columbus, Grove City is a suburb bustling with activity and scenery. The community of around 40,000 people offers plenty of restaurants, bars, art galleries, unique shops and even a brewery and winery. Stringtwon Road, for example, is home to plenty of hotels, restaurants and shops, while the more historic Town Center is an area with more quaint offerings. In addition, for those looking to enjoy the outdoors there are numerous parks, farmer’s markets, a summer concert series and quite a few golf courses from which to choose. The public can get tee times at a couple of nearby municipal facilities. Mentel Memorial Golf Course is a well-maintained public course that can play more than 7,000 yards, while Raymond Memorial in Columbus next door is a terrific Robert Trent Jones Sr. layout. Grove City has some really nice private clubs as well, including the Jack Kidwell-designed Hickory Hills Golf Club and Pinnacle Golf Club, a Lanny Wadkins design that plays nearly 7,500 yards.
