Golf Courses Near Findlay, OH
Located about 40 miles south of Toledo, Findlay is a pretty sweet place to live and visit. Sweet, because it’s famous for Dietsch Brothers Fine Chocolates and Ice Cream. That’s one of the must-do’s when coming here as is the historic Wilson Sandwich Shop. But on a more serious note, this town of 40,000 residents is also the home to several major corporations including Cooper Tire and Marathon Petroleum, which funded the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts. Also home of the private Findlay University, the city offers many more restaurants, shops and parks as well as golf courses. Public golfers can get tee times at outstanding courses like the semi-private Red Hawk Run Golf Club, a 7,200-yard layout designed by Arthur Hills and Steve Forrest. Another good choice for the public in Findlay is Hillcrest Golf Club, while Findlay Country Club, a 1908 Tom Bendelow layout, is an excellent private club.
