Golf Courses Near Webster, NY

A large suburb of Rochester, Webster has something to offer for everyone. Visitors can take education tours and boat rides on the Erie Canal, check out a farmer’s market or do a wine tasting or beer sampling at one of the area’s many wineries or breweries. It’s also a city that’s blessed with great restaurants and pubs as well plenty of parks and greenspace. The latter includes a nice selection of both public and private golf courses. There are plenty of tee times available for the public, for example, at the highly acclaimed Webster Golf Club, which has played host to both U.S. Amateur and U.S. Open qualifiers. Or if you really want a memorable experience, check out The Links at Greystone, one of the highest rated public facilities in the state. The course, which is located in nearby Walworth, measure more than 7,300 yards, is always in great shape and quite scenic. Eagle Vale Golf Course in Fairport is another good public course, while Penfield Country Club and Midvale golf and Country Club, also in Penfield, are terrific private clubs.
