Golf Courses Near New Rochelle, NY

One of the oldest and most historic cities in the Northeast, New Rochelle is a New York bedroom community with lots to do and see. Located on Long Island sound, New Rochelle has beaches, sailing, lots of great dining and pubs and bars and parks. There’s golf, too, of course, including some of the area’s most prestigious private clubs such as Wykagyl Country Club, which was designed by greats A.W. Tillinghast and Donald Ross. Fortunately for golfers looking for tee times, there’s a lot more golf in neighboring communities. Public courses include the likes of Saxon Woods in Scarsdale and the 36 holes of Pelham Bay and Split Rock Golf courses in in Pelham Bay Park in the Bronx.
