Golf Courses Near Canandaigua, NY

A popular vacation destination in the Finger Lakes region of New York, Canandaigua has much to offer visitors. From its historic downtown full of great local restaurants, boutique shops to its beautiful views of Lake Canandaigua, this town, which is located about 20 minutes from Rochester, is a great place to spend a few days in the summer. It’s also a good place for golfers to get tee times. One of the best choices is the Bristol Harbor Resort, where there is an excellent 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. The 6,800-yard course has lots of lake views on the front side and is carved through the forest on the back nine. Centerpointe Golf Club is another course open to the public, while the Billy Fuller-designed Canandaigua Country Club is a nice private club option. Not far away in Shortsville, Pheasant Links offers 27 holes to the public, while Victor Hills Golf Club has three 18-hole layouts, plus an executive course.
