Golf Courses Near Brooklyn, NY
One of New York City’s five boroughs, Brooklyn is, of course, known for the Brooklyn Bridge. But it’s just one of many bridges located in this city south of Manhattan. There’s also Coney Island and Prospect Park, and Brooklyn also has the NBA’s Nets, formerly of New Jersey. There are also hundreds of great restaurants and bars and plenty of outdoor space, including quite a few golf courses that offer tee times to the public. Among them is Marine Park Golf Course, a Robert Trent Jones Sr. layout that plays nearly 7,000 yards. The course was renovated by Stephen Kay in 2012. Other courses open to the public include Dyker Beach Golf Course and Forest Park Golf Course, a shorter 18-hole layout in nearby Woodhaven.
