Golf Courses Near Amherst, NY
Just northeast of Buffalo, Amherst is the area’s largest suburb with plenty of culture, arts, restaurants, coffee shops and museums. The Amherst Museum, for example, creates 19th century Niagara life with more than 35 acres of churches, plantations, historical homes and textile buildings. There are also plenty of things to do outdoors, like visiting Niagara Falls, or playing one of the area’s many golf courses, which offer plenty of tee times to the public. At Amherst Audubon Golf Course, a municipal, facility, players can choose between and 18-hole course and par-3 course. Grove Cleveland Golf Course is a par 69 that plays just under 6,000 yards, and in nearby Tonawanda, Brighton Park and 26-hole Deerwood (in North Tonawanda) offer more golf to the public.
