Golf Courses Near Hudson, NH
A quiet small city located near the Massachusetts border, Hudson is a town that offers local restaurants, shops, parks and outdoor recreations. The city was also once home to one of the strangest zoos in the country, Benson’s Wild Animal Farm. Opened for a half century until it closed in 1987, the farm had a gorilla, lions and other wild animals as well as rides. Today, it’s been restored into a 166-acre public park, sans animals. Other things to do in the area include local wineries, the Museum of Printing in nearby Warwick, and the Budweiser Brewery in Merrimack. The brewery is open for tours, tastings and private events. Golfers enjoy the Hudson area as well with several private and public courses offering tee times. The busiest and most popular is Green Meadow Golf Course, which has two 18-hole layouts, the flatter Prairie Course, and more rolling layout, the Jungle.
